Unusually low tide that we had been waiting for many months, usually this area is under several feet of water. Just so happens my nephew was in town and got to go with us and shoot some shots for himself. It must have blown his mind to get to work with a world class art model like Rebel Smith and now of course I'm his photo hero, which amuses me to no end. "Uncle John, you have the best job ever!" I try to impress upon him the struggle and sacrifice it has taken to get to this point in my life. I remember how naive I was at 20 years old, it was a beautiful time. Life takes it twists and turns, but I have no regrets, I love what I do and hope to die with a camera in my hands.
